Upgrading from previous version of OmniHTTPd

Before You Begin

Please read the License Agreement in LICENSE.TXT before you begin.

OmniHTTPd requires Microsoft Windows 95.
OmniHTTPd will not run under Win 3.1 or Win32s. OmniHTTPd will not run on Windows NT. If you need a version for NT, check our web site http://www.fas.harvard.edu/~glau/httpd/ for OmniHTTPd Professoinal, which runs on both Windows 95 and Windows NT.
8MB of RAM
If you have less than this, you shouldn't be running Win95 anyway.
At least 1MB of hard drive space.
You obviously need more if you are going to serve content. A small web site may only need up to 3MB to 4MB of space. (OmniHTTPd will run on a floppy but you then become seriously limited as to the quantity of documents you can serve. People actually do this so don't laugh.)
A TCP/IP stack.
The TCP/IP stack that comes with Windows 95 is recommended. In order to setup a TCP/IP stack, you will need some adapter underneath to bind it to. This usually comes in the form of a modem or network card.

Note that direct TCP/IP access to the Internet is not required.
